This company is absolutely atrocious! My family for close to a year now have been trying to get the blinds that were installed fixed as they were not done well or correctly. On top of that, every single time we call, we just speak to a receptionist and then get told false claims that our issue has been heard and will be followed up by the appropriate staff member, who by the way has no direct number. We have followed up, sent emails and called on countless occasions for the matter to go no where and continues to be unresolved. They are happy to take your money and then you never hear from them again. I would never recommend this company to anyone and if I could I would rate them -5!!

Appalling customer service, do not waste your time. I had the worst experience with them after having two roller shutters installed late last year. Nothing went right from day one. They are quick to lock you in and take your money, but after that they simply don't care. My install was delayed for months after being told it would be approximately a 5 week turn around, and during that time I had to constantly contact them for updates, otherwise I didn't hear from them. When they finally did install, we had nothing but issues, starting with them measuring up one of the windows incorrectly so they had to remake the blind. And then when the second one arrived it was also incorrect! Since installation we have had issues with them not running smoothly. One of them was catching and making a loud clunking noise. It was resolved after a few attempts, but only because I was constantly onto them about it, otherwise I doubt they would have followed through. Now the second one is playing up with the same issue as the first one. We were booked in last month to have 2 of the slats replaced, but they were a no show, twice! Since then, the Canberra office has closed down so the calls are redirected to Sydney and they will not return my calls. It appears they are not servicing Canberra anymore, but they will not admit it even after I've asked them to just be honest and transparent with me rather than me wasting my time constantly calling and never getting a call back like they promise to. Seems to me they simply don't want to know. So now I'm left with a faulty blind and will need to pay more money to have it fixed by another company. I would give zero stars if I could!

Don’t use their services. The product is a poor quality for what you pay. The sales team is very efficient to sign you up but once you to buy , their after sales service is atrocious. First it would take ages for them to come back to you.( when you call, the customer service knows from your address what type of blinds/ shutters you have installed and all the specifics) . Their blinds always break down past 16 months so it’s “just out of warranty “ so you have to pay again and their installers are always busy. I am still waiting for someone to contact us, in the meantime, we cannot access our backyard unless we crawl out as the remote control doesn’t work.

Hi. Great quality product and looks great. Polite and friendly people to deal with. Showed up on time got the job done and cleaned up after themselves. Electrician coming out in a couple of days to wire up the controls. Highly recommended, :)

The product is good - AOL security shutters are not cheap. What’s bad? Value is average and they don’t reduce outdoor noise by much at all. What’s good? Fitted correctly the shutters are good quality, secure, chop out all outside light when closed (great for sleeping), add privacy and they help insulation. My installation experience wasn’t the best, however - any issues I had were addressed. AOL in my case owned any problems and corrected them. I can’t speak for others whom have had issues with AOL, my only real issue was a lack of communication over long periods of time. To be fair, they responded professionally and my dealings with AOL ended on a good note. I don’t know about the longevity of the product. Things to consider are hail damage, potentially failing motors, doors coming off the tracks, but I’d think you’d be pretty unlucky encountering those issues long term. The product is clearly a good one. Be sure to ask lots of questions and be sure about what you want, and they will deliver.

AOL did a marvelous job as you can see from the before and after photos. From quote to finish the AOL Team kept us informed and were very professional. Installers were friendly and curteous.
