Curtain Wonderland Mackay

Curtain Wonderland was founded in 1971 by brother and sister Neville Russell and Pam Tacey. Its first store opened in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane, initially focusing on soft-furnishing fabrics. It is part of Kresta Holdings Limited. The Mackay location offers custom made window coverings with a free measure and quote. Readymade products can be exchanged or refunded within 10 days if returned in original condition with proof of purchase.

Curtain Wonderland Mackay draws homeowners furnishing an entire property, and the feedback repeatedly highlights how much the team does to make the process straightforward. Various customers describe selecting curtains for every room as quick and easy, with staff taking time to talk through options without any sense of being hurried. A theme running through the feedback is the willingness of the team to go further than expected, whether that means offering patient guidance during a sale or helping with a whole-house order.

Friendly and caring service is a constant refrain, with Andrew and Bev singled out for their assistance. The product range is praised as large and attractive, giving confidence that something suitable can be found, while prices are described as affordable and fair. Customers remark that the team made a potentially overwhelming task feel manageable and stress free, and that browsing at leisure was possible. Attentive service and competitive pricing leave customers pleased with their window furnishings, from curtains and blinds through to homewares.
