LK Interiors Geelong

LK Interiors Geelong was established in 1985 and is family-owned and locally operated. Cherie Blackney is Head of Design and owns the business with her husband, Richard. She has more than 30 years of experience in the design and decorating industry, holding qualifications in Interior Design and Decoration as well as Textile Design. Her work has been recognised by an award from the Design Institute of Australia.

The business services both commercial and residential markets across the Greater Geelong and Melbourne areas. Main services include window furnishings, soft furnishings, trims and decorative rods, wallpapers and wallcoverings, and interior design. LK Interiors Geelong offers a free in-home measure and quote for custom curtains and blinds across the Greater Geelong region and provides a full measure-to-install service.

LK Interiors Geelong earns consistent praise from customers for the quality of its curtains, blinds, sheers and venetians, with reviewers repeatedly highlighting both the finished result and the professionalism of the installation. Richard is named often for his precise measuring, design input and fastidious fitting, while Cherie is credited with expert guidance on fabric and style selection, and Annie is also mentioned warmly.

Customers in several reviews describe the process from initial consultation through to installation as well organised, with clear communication and a strong focus on detail that brings their ideas to life. The team is described as knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely passionate, offering a wide range of options at fair prices. Buyers of electric blinds and sheer curtains note how much the window furnishings improved their homes, and remote-operated awnings are praised for the shade they provide.

After-sales support also comes up, with one account of a broken blind chain being repaired quickly at no charge. Reviewers in Geelong appreciate the affordable pricing, the range of choices and the careful workmanship, and the recurring theme is that the installation and the final look match what was promised. The business also handles interior design and styling alongside its window furnishings.
