Basha's Floors & Blinds Pty Ltd
About the company
Basha's Floors & Blinds Pty Ltd is a four-generation family business with over 100 years of industry experience. It was originally founded by Thomas Basha and has been servicing Nowra and the Shoalhaven since 1902. The business is currently run by Joe Basha, who took over the floor coverings and blinds division in December 2001. Basha's first carpet laying job was completed in 1922 at the Albion Hotel.
The business serves the Shoalhaven region, providing residential and commercial floor coverings, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, and engineered timber floors. It also offers blinds, curtains, plantation shutters, and outdoor window treatments, with installation services for blinds and plantation shutters, custom curtains made to style preferences and size requirements, and sales of carpet and vinyl offcuts.

Thank you so much for helping us out and getting our blinds install as quick as possible for our place in Vincentia, greatly appreciate it.
We had a great experience with Basha Blinds. Joe and his team were professional and helpful from the initial quote right through to the installation. Matt and Rourke completed the installation of our blinds and were both professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend Basha Blinds to anyone looking for quality products and outstanding customer service.
Helpful
I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Basha’s Floors & Blinds, and I absolutely would not recommend them. I was given a formal quote for $1,263 and asked to pay a 50% deposit, which I did. Nowhere in the quote was there any mention of an additional $345 charge — that figure was buried in the body of an email and never included in a revised quote or official document. When I questioned this, I was met with an unprofessional, dismissive, and condescending response. Rather than acknowledging that their quoting process lacked clarity, I was told the cost was “blatantly obvious” and the fault was entirely mine. No accountability, no apology, no recognition of the confusion caused by their poor communication. This is not how a professional business should treat its customers. A quote should clearly include all costs in writing — not expect customers to piece together totals from email text. The experience was stressful and handled with a complete lack of care or respect. I wouldn’t trust this business again, and I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious if considering their services.
Highly recommend Bashas! Installed 4 large window shutters and lined sheer curtain! Joe has a great eye for matching best product for application! Excellent quality products, great pricing, efficient service and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction! Thank you Joe and team
As always, Bashas delivered. On time as per usual and did a wonderful job supplying and installing my plantation shutters. Highly recommend this local family business to everyone. Thank you!!
Nice clean store with friendly staff. Many thanks, Adrian, for coming out to our property to measure up our cathedral window and floor carpet.
