Dolomite Blinds And Awnings

Would never use this company again. Placed an order in February, now is May and I still don't have the product installed. The owner talks in the detached manner about the supplier being late, the installer is being unavailable etc. He is not in control, he is just answering the phone and he will "chase them down". The owner never returns calls never "chase down" the installer, the job is still unfinished. Disappointing.

Happy with the work done just took a little longer time for production than expected , other wise nice job done by all involved.

Had our first outdoor blinds supplied & installed by Dolomite.They lasted about 15 years without any problems. Last year we decided on a total blockout blind also in beige colour. Within months we were seeing mould on the blinds which never happened on the old blinds.We kept on washing them for about 8 months but after another 6 months of trying to wash out the mould I was getting frustrated & called Royce & called him several times until 2 months later he finally came & inspected them taking photos. I rang again after a couple of weeks & he said he sent the photos to the supplier.Weeks passed & again I had to chase him to find out what was happening.He told me that the supplier would not come out & look at the blinds & I should chase them up.I told him he supplied & installed the blinds & he should be responsible.He said he will do nothing & he has changed suppliers which in my mind shows he had problems with them but won’t own up to it. I haven’t approached Fair Trading yet but may do so very soon as I feel that Dolomite needs to take responsibility on the products they sell.

I’d never recommend dealing with this company.EVER. A job that was to be 6-8 weeks took 4 plus mths to install. Multiple voicemail attempts & messages to have the manager reply but always fall on deaf ears. False promises ~ stay away!

BUYER BEWARE!! My personal experience with this company is one of faulty workmanship, false promises, late delivery of orders, not delivering what has been ordered and basically no after sale service and not standing by their product warranty. My list of complaints span nearly 2 years. Again, this is my experience and I can only speak of my experience. I'm still waiting on a warranty repair 8 months on from when it was submitted. The owner of the business has informed me the warranty repair of my Urban Track blind will take only a few minutes. 8 months on all I've experienced is excuses, unreplied emails, high staff turnover (often a different install person, office person etc.) but no warranty repair. It's often said 'the buck stops' with the manager (or owner) of a business, yet my experience is the owner blames the installer, the contractor or even the customer. Just unconscionable. Buyers, please be careful. If the other reviews are any indication, my story is not unique.

Once money taken they don’t want to know you ! Good luck chasing them up for any issue

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After 5 months of installing the awning at our shop, the awning came off. We were told altogether by the owner Royce, it should last 5 years plus. Despite of multiple times trying to contact them to fix their issue, months after many phone calls, emails and many excuses, we finally got in touch and were told by the OWNER again they WON’T OFFER GUARANTEE on their service. And the awning came off isn’t their fault. And that they won’t come out to fix it. It’s a total joke of customer service and quality of their work. Can not reply so i continue in here That’s an absolute lie. You told my partner the guy who works for you who did our job doesn’t work there anymore. You don’t have anyone to come back to reinstall our job. And it is your fabric installing work came off. The frame is still intact. It’s nothing to do with the previous job.
