Jon Wilson Canvas & Shade

Jon Wilson Canvas & Shade was initially established in a Coffs Harbour garage. In 1996 Jon Wilson moved the business to its current premises when it outgrew the limited space available. In 2013, Jon sold the business to Wade Jones. Wade Jones has more than 18 years' experience in the construction and manufacturing industry. Jon Wilson has 32-plus years of industry experience in the manufacture and installation of shade sails and shade structures. The business has been established for more than 30 years. The business designs and manufactures shade sails, shade sail carports, umbrellas and domestic and commercial shade structures.

All products are custom made and sold direct to the public. The business provides experienced installers to professionally fit shade sails and weather protection products. The business designs and installs commercial shade structures for applications including schools, resorts, factories, restaurants, cafes, pools and offices. Installation services are offered throughout Coffs Harbour and the greater regional area including Nambucca Heads, South West Rocks, Taree and Port Macquarie. The business manufactures and installs shade solutions.

Shade sails are the product at the centre of Jon Wilson Canvas & Shade in Coffs Harbour, a sailmaker that also works with carports, pergolas and outdoor furniture. Customer accounts focus on the finished sail, with a shade installation over a pool area singled out for its quality of workmanship and the way it completes the space.

Speed and organisation come through in the feedback: a measure-up early in the week, a quote within days and the job finished the following week left one customer delighted. The owner is named for personally returning to resolve an issue that arose when existing fittings were reused for a sail. Reviewers note that the sails look great and that they would engage the team again for future work.
