WeatherSafe WA

WeatherSafe WA is a Bunbury-based business founded in 1975. It was formerly known as Del-Ray Canvas Australia and was originally a family business operated by the Lewis family. Mark Lewis bought the business in 2010 and changed its name to WeatherSafe WA. The company operates three divisions: Outdoor blinds and Awnings, SunBan and WaterShed, and Weatherproof Industrial, and its main services include outdoor blinds, awnings, shade sails, shade structures and weatherproof industrial products.

WeatherSafe WA offers a free measure and quote service and holds an Industry Leading 10-Point Guarantee. Its team has more than 120 years of collective knowledge and experience. Clients have included BHP Billiton, City of Bunbury Parks and Gardens Department, HELM, MIKA & FORM Apartments, Scarborough Foreshore Development, East Metropolitan Regional Council, Car Giant, Shire of Upper Gascoyne, Bunbury Farmers Markets and South 32 Worsley alumina mine site. WeatherSafe WA services the entire state of Western Australia.

Households seeking protection for doors, outdoor equipment and entertaining areas describe a consistently helpful experience with this Bunbury blinds and shade specialist. Made-to-measure work is a recurring theme, with one custom installation designed to flex under strong winds and keep a front entry dry through severe storms, which suggests considered advice rather than a standard stock solution. Named staff including Mark, Kat and Vanessa are remembered for friendliness, responsiveness and a readiness to set other jobs aside for an urgent repair needed by an interstate exhibitor.

Quick turnarounds come up often, as do fair pricing and the same attentive manner whether the task is a minor fix or a larger outdoor installation. After-care is described as readily available, and completed blinds are said to be simple to operate while shutting out glare, weather and draughts. Several customers note that the office team's professional yet personal approach made the process straightforward from the initial enquiry through to handover, and that a small job still attracted the care given to a major project.
