Awnings and outdoor blinds · Sydney

How much does Awnings and outdoor blinds cost in Sydney? (2026 price guide)

Fixed canvas or aluminium awnings typically cost $600-$1,800 supplied and fitted depending on width, while retractable outdoor blinds or alfresco screens usually run $800-$2,500 per opening. Motorised versions with remote or app control generally add $500-$1,500 on top of a manual system.

The main cost factors are the width and drop of the area being covered, the material (PVC mesh, canvas or acrylic), whether it's fixed or retractable, and manual versus motorised operation. Wind-rated or heavier-duty fabric for exposed areas also increases price, as does difficult mounting.

Measure the space accurately before requesting quotes, and ask installers about wind ratings suited to your exposure, since a cheaper unrated blind may need replacing sooner in exposed conditions.
