A Curtains and Blinds

Thank you to Darren, Mel, Lee and Chris! We bought a house that had 3 different types of curtains in 3 different rooms. One set got chucked day one (falling apart, mouldy) , 2nd set were Ikea DIY and the only ones that were still working and looked professionally installed were from A Curtains and Blinds. The kitchen had nothing at all and now we have beautiful automated blinds 😁. We visited the showroom and Darren spent at least an hour showing us all types of curtain materials, blinds, styles and options. The next step was an in house visit, where Darren brought fabrics and we sat in each room and made our choices. Honestly, they look amazing. I am really fussy about everything, checked every seam, surface and function. Lee and Chris did an awesome job. Nothing was a problem. When I noticed the curtains were sitting too close in one of the rooms, they returned and installed a larger bracket, no problem. I had many questions, as each room is very different and now, all of them look beautiful. The previous owners had chosen dark heavy fabrics and carpets and changing both was such a dramatic difference. From cold industrial to warm luxury with colour, texture and style. Darren had all the answers, and knew exactly what he was talking about. It wasn't a hard sell, it was simply a variety of options, time and patience to make decisions and the result has added so much value to our home and more so, we love living here even more. From enquiry to install was 4-6weeks, just as they had stated. Professional service, quality, effective communication and in a saturated market, they deserve your business. When you get quality and service you are willing to pay more. I didn't check the prices, mostly because I saw what was in the house and used that as evidence. Plus, everything in this house that is DIY, is so obvious. If you want something to look professional, pay for it. It saves both time and money, it also lasts! Thank you again 😁.

Absolutely fantastic, we could not be happier. Wonderful customer service. Ashleigh and Melissa were both easy to deal with and very friendly. Ashleigh spent a lot of time helping me pick the right fabrics and colours and went above and beyond with quotes for different options. We decided on floor to ceiling block out linings and sheers and they have honestly made our rooms feel so special and beautiful to be in. I feel like I’m in a boutique hotel! We were originally looking into some online DIY options and I am so thankful we reached out to A Curtains and Blinds. DIY would have been disastrous- we definitely would have ordered the wrong window coverings for what we required and I just know installation would have been a nightmare. For the extra money (which honestly was quite reasonable given I had excellent guidance from Ashleigh and friendly and experienced installers), it was so worth it. For a company that charges premium prices, you naturally expect a premium level of service and product. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience on this occasion. During the initial consultation at our home, I clearly requested that the curtain rod be ceiling-mounted. However, when the installation was completed, it was placed just above the window instead. The overall finish also felt quite bulky, with more fabric than expected, which didn’t look as refined as I had hoped. I raised my concerns with the installers at the time and was told that a manager would follow up with me, but I never received a call. I then tried reaching out myself several times, but it was difficult to get through due to limited opening hours. The experience wasn’t terrible, but it was disappointing, especially given the price point. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but in this case, the overall service felt underwhelming and didn’t meet expectations.

We had curtains and blinds installed in our home by “A Curtains and Blinds” over 7 years ago and they were so great, we decided to come back to their company again recently to update one of our bedrooms. The quality of their product has elevated our entire apartment and our experience with the staff from consultation to installation has been an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend this company 😊

I recently purchased sheers & blockouts from A Curtains & blinds. From Mel, Hazel and the installers, the whole experience was outstanding- total transformation. Would definately recommend & use them again in the future.

From the measure by Hazel, to the fitting by Darren and Mel, the process was seamless. Although a “little hiccup” with the cornice, Darren quickly resolved this and our Sheers look amazing.
