Local Plantation Shutters - PVC & Timber
About the company
Local Plantation Shutters has supplied and installed made-to-measure shutters for homes across Sydney since 2009, giving it over 10 years of experience. It serves Sydney, Campbelltown, Penrith, Windsor, Wollongong, and the Central Coast. Every shutter is measured for the individual window or door rather than supplied in a standard size.
Eligible white PVC and timber shutter options are manufactured locally, and eligible locally made white PVC shutters can be installed in about two weeks after measurements and specifications are confirmed. PVC shutters use aluminium reinforcement for additional panel stability. Timber shutters are available in Basswood, Cedar, painted and stained options, with Basswood Timber used for making shutters. The company offers a free in-home measure and quote. Services include plantation shutters, curtains and blinds.
What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Sunny is named in nearly every review for Local Plantation Shutters, handling everything from the initial quote to keeping customers updated during manufacture, with Andy and installer Bill also mentioned on specific jobs.
Reviewers repeatedly highlight a fast turnaround, often one to three weeks from order to installation, well ahead of the month-plus timelines quoted by other suppliers they had compared. Several note that the shutters are manufactured locally rather than overseas, which they credit for both the speed and the finish quality.

Happy with our new shutters for our new house. Great quality and fast installation. Excellent communication with Sunny and his team. Quick turnaround not even 2 weeks. Would recommend their service.
We (John and Kylie) recently had shutters installed by Local Plantation Shutters and could not be more pleased with the results, they look amazing. From first contact with Sunny it took just 3 weeks for the shutters to be made and installed. Sunny kept us fully informed along the way and nothing was too much trouble even when we added an extra window. The shutters are manufactured locally and to an extremely high quality standard unlike the so called big companies who take your money and have them made overseas and make you wait weeks and sometimes months to have them installed. If you are looking for shutters for your home that are manufactured locally at an affordable price with double quick installation look no further than Sunny and his team at Lical Plantation Shutters you will not be disappointed.

VERY VERY HAPPY 😊
Ordered our plantation Shutters from Sonny, one week later we had been booked in for installation. Bill came out to install, very clean worker, professional in his work. The Shutters are absolutely amazing, this order was for my daughters new home purchased, she is also incredibly happy. I have had plantation Shutters in my home for many years, I will be getting Sonny over to change and add more. I totally recommend these guys, fair priced and super fast process, you'll be hard pressed finding better. Thank you Sonny and Bill.
