Cafe Blinds Australia

Cafe Blinds Australia is a blinds and shutters business based in Wollongong that specialises in outdoor blinds for residential and commercial spaces. It has over a decade of experience specialising in outdoor blinds and delivers Australia-wide for commercial and residential projects.

The company offers clear or tinted PVC and Shade Screen blinds, Zipper blinds with rope and pulley operation, Crank blinds with crank and gear operation, Track blinds with no zippers or pulleys, and motorised blinds. It provides a free measure and quote. David is named as an installer.

Meticulous workmanship paired with a hands-on, personal approach is the thread running through the feedback for this Wollongong blinds specialist. A handful of customers describe dealing directly with David, who installs the cafe blinds himself, and a number of reviews mention that he arrives when he says he will and quotes the job on site. The range covers cafe blinds, PVC options and electric clear blinds, with an interior designer citing years of collaboration across commercial and residential projects and commending David's meticulous attention to detail.

A recurring point is how these installations turn open outdoor areas into usable indoor-like spaces, with blinds still looking fresh after a decade. Costs are described as competitive and fair, and the guidance provided has saved customers money by retaining their existing blinds rather than replacing them. Communication stands out, particularly the readiness to answer questions long after installation, including advice on lubricating tracks after a blind stopped working as it should. Two customers mention motorised upgrades, and one notes the installer worked around a business schedule to avoid disruption. Praise centres on David and his partner, with tidy, efficient installation and a courteous manner.
