Solomon's Flooring & Sultan's Blinds Hervey Bay

I had a fantastic experience with Solomon’s Hervey Bay! The staff were knowledgeable, the price was right and the installers were very professional and pleasant to deal with. Everything turned out exactly as discussed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their floors and window covering! Thank you Shaun for such a lovely experience!

There are very few places that provide the service that we experienced at Solomon’s. The owner was busy with a customer but made sure to greet us and acknowledge our presence. He then proceeded to engage with us and explain the different types of flooring available and suggested what would be suitable without upselling. The next time we went back in store we met his wife who again was so well mannered and attentive. It is hard to describe but in the electronic age that we live in people have lost some of their simple manners. But the service we received from both of them stood out mainly for their polite manners and attentiveness. We also noticed that they did this with other customers who walked through their doors. I really enjoyed all our interactions with the owner and am very happy with the carpet and vinyl flooring that we purchased from them. We will be heading back for window treatments.

Seriously if you go to the other flooring shops then walk into these guys you will feel like you are on a different customer service planet. Very knowledgeable and helpful on all things flooring and were extremely flexible laying our house in 3 seperate stages. Highly recommended!

Went into the store last week, arranged with store employee for them to come out to my place with samples at 0900hrs on 04/09/25. The employee repeated the time and address to me again. Come 0915 hrs on 04/09/25 - no show. Call Solomon's - speak to Tony who advises that the employee informs him that no-one checked and that is why they did not show up. Tony offered to reschedule. I advised no thank you - I mean what guarantee would there be that they would show up. Poor man's excuse and can only reflect on their business practices. Would definitely not recommend this store - there are other carpet stores in the Wide Bay. Stay clear of Solomon's 😒😒😒

Very well set out store with plenty of samples to look at. Sales men are very friendly and informative. They are happy to come to your home for quoting and measuring up. Prices sound very reasonable when asked for approximate quote for quality materials.

We recently have had all of our carpets renewed as well as replacing tiles with vinyl planking. Dealing with Cory for selection of products measure & quotes proceeded without delay and prices much less expensive than other companies. The layers were very professional & respectful of us & our home.
