We were pleasantly suprised by the very reasonable pricing and ended up deciding to add plantation shutters to the whole house. From first contact we received a visit for measure and written quote from the owner the next day. No pushy hard selling just an honest easy chat with someone who believes in their product. The shutters arrived and were installed exactly within the estimated time frame. Installation was professional, easy, clean and took only a few hours. We couldn’t be happier with the final product in terms of both quality and the look it adds to our home. We would highly recommend Brisbane Shutters.
We had Mark from Brisbane Shutters visit to discuss our options for shutters for our master bedroom double glass doors and 2 x windows. Based on his recommendations we went with aluminium shutter options. Mark showed us a product which we were not aware of before which was a secure, lockable french door shutter design with built-in fly screens which we were sold on as it allows us to keep our double glass doors open while keeping the room locked and secure and have the breeze come through. The product is of outstanding quality and looks amazing. The fact it is key lockable with a bolt lock means it is more secure than the glass doors themselves. They look stunning and we will eventually replace our other shutters throughout the house with the same when the time comes. The installer was Hamish and he was friendly and completed the whole installation inside of a couple of hours. He also put a lovely new sheer curtain in our kitchen to cover our bi-fold patio doors. The workmanship and quality of product is excellent and the price was very competitive. There was a delay of a few weeks for our install but this was a supplier issue and was in no way the fault of Brisbane Shutters. We love the end result and highly recommend their work and their products.
Had 7 bigs windows installed with plantation shutters. What a massive transformation to the lighting, vibe and look of our house. All our friends and family loved it when they visited, even neighbours walked by and asked where I got them from. I found the timber shutters to be great quality, Mark's been easy to work with and very good pricing! The "split system" (top half of the shutters open independently of bottom half) is very useful to me, I can maintain privacy by closing bottom half and keep good lighting by opening top half!
We had shutters installed by Brisbane Shutters in November 2025. We were looking for something to provide security, insect protection, look great, while retaining our casement windows. After much comparison and shopping around our answer was tough shutters with added screens from Brisbane Shutters. Mark was very professional during the measure and quote process and discussed options to make sure we were happy with the final product and the price. Hamish made sure the installation was completed professionally and efficiently. 4 months later we are so happy with the shutters. They are secure, easy to use and look great. We had an issue with the operation of one of the shutters. Mark solved it in a few minutes over the phone.
New shutters installed today have completely changed how my living room looks. The team were great at recommending which material, surround and colour would work best in my space and achieve the look I was after - clean and modern. Feels much more private without losing the breeze and light.
We used Brisbane Shutters for 4 large internal windows in our living room/kitchen (pictured). It took about 11wks but was worth the wait, and we are thrilled with how they look and are keen to get more installed. They seem to be one of the only companies who offer aluminum for internal window shutters but we are so glad we went with this option. They look strong and great quality and I can believe they will last the 20+ years promised. We also appreciated Mark’s experience and expertise and the time he took to explain everything to us.

I Love them so much I am going to get internal plantation shutters too! Prior to meeting with Mark, I met with three other companies of which I was not overly impressed, additionally there was one company that didn’t even show up. I had no clue about shutters and was starting to wonder if I should even go this way at all and then I met with Mark, I was instantly impressed. Mark was punctual and presented with the utmost proficiency and a great personality, was an added bonus! Right from the beginning I knew I was dealing with a company that pride themselves in quality and standards in the make of product and also workmanship for installation. This was also well before I had met Paul, the builder who does the installation. What a gem he is! He even took time out to interact with my cat and installed the shutters in less than half the time I expected.
