Matthew Sims and Mark Greig each have over 20 years of experience in the window furnishing industry.
The company custom manufactures security doors and screens in its Adelaide-owned factory. It has a department dedicated to new homeowners and renovators, and offers a personal dedicated commercial consultant. For home renovations and new builds, pricing is locked in for 12 months. This was a great experience from start to finish. It all began with my visit to the Norwood showroom, where I spoke with Marina about my new curtains. She was knowledgeable, caring, and really took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Her advice made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Vince, who completed the final installation, was fantastic. He took his time, paid great attention to detail, and did an excellent job. The finished result looks amazing. I couldn't be happier with the service and would highly recommend Burns for Blinds to anyone looking for quality products and outstanding customer service.
I had a very poor experience seeing one of your fully branded Burns for Blinds vans on the road, registration S 189 CJV. The driver was speeding, cutting people off and smoking while driving. It was disappointing to see this behaviour in a company vehicle, especially one covered in advertising. When staff are driving branded vans, they are representing the business, and this sort of driving comes across as unsafe and unprofessional. I hope Burns for Blinds takes this seriously and reminds its drivers that road safety and public behaviour matter.
I had security shutters installed on my front windows after concerns about break ins. Tony come out, explained options clearly and installed our shutters within 3 weeks and left no mess. Communication was clear, product quality feels strong, cost was a little higher than budget but worth it for peace of mind.
The installation was quick and tidy. One tech installed two 2.7m shutters and motorised another 2.7m shutter on his own. That was very impressive.
Scott was an excellent tradesperson. He arrived on time and was very well organised. He even moved some furniture and displayed an excellent sense of humour. Highly recommended.
They were great from start to finish. Great service and quicker than expected installation. Very happy with our plantain shutters. Would recommend
The 5 star rating is given to Chris who did the work of 3 men in one hour. He was personable, knew the product and completed the scope of works in a timely manner. We highly recommend him. Unfortunately we commenced this work with 3 men who arrived late and were not experienced or knowledgeable about fitting the shutters or the work to be undertaken. We could not provide a rating for the initial workers. In addition we experienced a receptionist who lacked patience and understanding to our concerns. Fortunately, when following up once more we spoke to a receptionist, Sharna who was exceptional and we were very grateful for her outstanding service.
