Awning Glory

Awning Glory is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience in awnings and outdoor blinds. Its founding team was originally trained in London. The business serves both residential and commercial markets across Australia. All work is handmade in Australia, and a 7 year warranty applies to all products. Awning Glory provides in-home design, samples, and a professional measuring service, and offers free quotes and consultations.

Homeowners extending their outdoor living space form the core of the feedback, with reviewers describing projects that turn sun-exposed patios and decks into comfortable alfresco areas. The recurring praise centres on custom shading designed around specific site conditions, including unusual roofline angles and north-facing aspects, with several customers noting that water drainage performs correctly during heavy rain. Fabric roofing and custom awnings come up often as the solution of choice, valued both for sun protection and for a sleek appearance that suits the home.

Installation quality is repeatedly highlighted: work is described as professional and flawlessly executed, with close attention to detail, and the resulting shade structures are reported to operate smoothly each time they are extended or retracted. Reviewers also mention that the transformation happened quickly, in one case within a week, and that outdoor entertaining became genuinely enjoyable because guests were no longer exposed to direct afternoon sunlight. Weather resistance is another point that comes up often, with one downpour testing a completed installation and no water penetrating. Roller blinds fitted consistently throughout a new build are also noted for a clean, streamlined result that curtains would not have matched.
