I have now used Open N Shut twice and been absolutely amazed at their professionalism, workmanship and communication through the whole process. I will again be using their services to provide for my daughter's premises in near future. No complaints from us and definitely recommend their services.

Our experience with OpenNShut has been deeply disappointing from the day we placed our order in November 2022 through to trying to make a warranty claim.Wrong product supplied: We ordered white timber plantation shutters. On installation day, the installer arrived with plastic shutters. Management repeatedly tried to convince us to accept the plastic shutters instead, offering a discount and claiming they were "better." After a lengthy and frustrating process, they reluctantly agreed to reorder the timber shutters.Wrong colour supplied: Months later, the replacement shutters finally arrived and were installed. Unfortunately, they weren't white—they were clearly beige. When we raised this, we were told they were "white" and that there are "different types of white." Rather than accepting responsibility, every effort seemed directed towards convincing us that beige was actually white. I've attached a photo so you can decide for yourself.Warranty issues: Fast forward 3.5 years. One of the louvre pins failed, causing it to jam. The shutters have actually been in use for less than three years, have been looked after exceptionally well, and we have no children or pets. I contacted the office, provided photos, and after a week of no response and a follow-up call, I was informed that a technician visit would cost $120 upfront.This came as a huge surprise given the prominently advertised "Massive 20-Year Guarantee" on their website. Management then informed me that hardware components like pins, hinges, and magnets are only covered by a 12-month warranty, meaning our repair wasn't covered. At no stage during the sales process, or in any contract or paperwork, were we told that the critical hardware required for the shutters to function was excluded after only 12 months. In my view, the advertising creates a highly misleading impression.Every time an issue arose, there was another excuse or another attempt to avoid taking responsibility. If you value integrity and customer service, look elsewhere.

Open N Shut are absolutely fantastic. I have received a professional service from Lachy and his work mate. They are both very professional, every step of the installation was explained to me. Also, once the installation was completed all my queries were answered. I highly recommended Open N Shut, from the reception staff to the installers.

Very happy with service from start to finish. Even tho there were some small issues with initial fit this was soon rectified and job completed efficiently. I was kept informed all the way along the process. Very polite and respectful staff at all contact points. I would recommend the company to others.

We recently got roller shutters from open n shut was easy to work with Ryan came out and quoted us no bullshit or funny business knew what he was doing as a tradie myself could tell instantly we had 5 quotes from other places but didn’t really like any of them when we first rang the office spoke to Tracie was very nice said they would come out on the Monday as I rang them Friday afternoon which they did.Ryan’s attitude and persona is what got us over the line but really glad we went with them as they were priced better then all of them and for the same materials which they manufacture there stuff locally great family business all in house lockie fitted the shutters with his brother to perfection as there was corner brackets and other complicated bits can’t fault any of work as I’m a tradie I’m a little bit more pickier and notice the quality of workmanship would highly recommend if thinking about shutters give them a call won’t be disappointed guaranteed top of the roller shutters industry big thanks to everyone at open n shut

We had a manual rope-operated roller shutter that hadn’t worked for years. We finally decided to have it converted so it could be operated by the same remote as our other shutters. Rob, Mark and Alex provided excellent service. They were efficient, professional and friendly throughout the entire process.
